Global Adoption Services offers a full range of home study, post-placement and post-adoption services for Maryland families who have adopted, or are planning to adopt domestically or internationally.
A home study that complies with all applicable state, country, Hague, USCIS, and placing agency requirements is the foundation of any successful adoption and a vital first step in the process of being approved to adopt. Global Adoptions has a variety of clinical social workers with a combined total of more than 75 years of experience in adoption and adoption related issues, such as:

effects of institutionalization
developmental delays

special needs

medical diagnosis
delays and complications in adoption

We are also proud to offer services to the deaf and hard of hearing community with a social worker who is certified in American Sign Language.
